At Expat BBQ, we reimagine the spirit of backyard barbecue through a global lens. Here, the American pitmaster is the abroad traveler, substituting classic ingredients with bold flavors found in markets and kitchens from Vietnam to Brazil, to China and beyond. Think St. Louis-style ribs glazed with tangy hoisin, smoked pork brightened by fresh Vietnamese herbs, or sides layered with South American influence. Located in the heart of Midtown at the City Foundry, Expat is where global flavor meets familiar fire—welcoming you to gather, share, and explore.

A More Flexible Service Model
We’re now walk-in only - no reservations needed! Seat yourself wherever you’re comfortable, then place your order by scanning the QR code at your table. Our team is always close by if you need assistance, and you’re welcome to order directly from the bar or with a server as well.

Great for Food Hall Groups
Guests from the Food Hall are welcome to join you in our dining room, even if they choose food from other concepts. It’s an easy way for groups to stay together, no matter what everyone’s craving.
